Dark brown eyes. Gorgeous tainted scarlet red fur. Seductive stance, cameras flashing easily. Long fluffy tail with a white tip touched the ground with such grace could've thought her as a swan. A vixen stood in plain view, humans stopping and watching her. Amazed that she wasn't afraid of them taking pictures. A sly smirk was on the fox's mouth, she moved with plain beauty. Fox's were normally found around here, so it was easy to have a good disguise as a shifter. And what kind of girl was shy of pictures?
I didn't know any.
My sleek fur moved with the wind, like silk. A child tried to touch the fur, clearly awed by a fox being so upclose. But, what is usually a beautiful figurine can become a very dangerous weapon.
In a flash of a camera, I turned around. Snarling, ears pinned back like the beast I trully was. My eyes narrowed, and I let out a shrill bark. The child froze for a moment, taking a step forward. People scattered. It was amusing, causing chaos. The child looked at me, eyes were soft. Apparently still kean on taking me home seemingly. I growled again, the mother beckoning her child towards her. The woman was to scared to get close, the small kid took an inch closer. And patted my head. Smoothing down my fur. It felt good. Too good. The child was joyous, running back to his mom.
The woman looked at me, my bark amber eyes black from where she stood. I snarled again, barking once more. Before suddenly turning my head sharply. Crap. The SPCA.
Running into the bushes skillfully, I appeared on the other side. a smile on my lips now. Playing cat and mouse was my kind of game. Cause half the time, the mouse tended to win. And I was the person to make it "half the time".
Running through the trees, I cut through paths. People snapping quick shots of me. My fur was blown back against the wind. A tainted scarlet still, and all the more pretty as I ran. My muscles had stamina. And I stopped shortly in a Japanese garden. Looking around, I felt a tense pressure in the area. As if something was watching me, tail lashed silently. Something didn't feel right.
I normally got this sense when a giant predator, such as a human, was watching me from the shadows. Almost all the time, it was right. Ears pricked like needles on edge, my tail stopped lashing. Focusing all my senses to hearing and scent, this was a special technique that I managed to discover by watching the vixen who I managed to put down. Her efforts were getting weaker as I shifted into a fox more often.
And hell, foxes are so far the most beautiful creature I have ever seen.
Their alert postures, ears perked and a tail that's like a paint brush. Black paws, with see-through claws. Oh god, I loved this form so much now. To be a seductive mistress to the humans... Is that why you created the animals? Or why we were born? My thoughts delayed my alertness, and I remembered almost instantly. A rustle in a near-by tree. Snow was on the ground, and where I stood there were paw prints on the ground. They were HUGE.
Standing frozen, I looked to the tree. The SPCA could never catch my great escape, and if they did they'd be even more puzzled by the paw prints. This. is. BAD.
The dean'll have my ass, that's for sure. He'll put it on a plaque above his fire place. A growl released from my throat, it was savage. A fox is a wicked speed demon, malicious, and they don't feel mercy.
Pretty much, 'BACK OFF OR DIE'. And that's exactly what my instincts told me to do. But I held ground, my body language easily intercepting my thoughts. I looked, alert, calm, collected, and blank. Speaking in a bored tone... "You who have large paws. Let's see what you are." I decided to be formal. Though by examining the paw prints a bit closer, I realized that it was from a big cat.
The first thing that ran through my head was: 'I'm screwed.'
The first thing I said was: "Here kitty kitty."
You can easily read a dog's body language from the movements of his or her tail. My paint-brush like tail twitched at the tip. Which meant, inside of all my worry and deception. I was waiting and contemplating what would happen next.
"The mouse is waiting."

« Stupid little animals. They didn't even get it. Posing for pictures, wanting the compliments that many were so overly willing to give. Puh-lease. I could get all the compliments in the world, and twice the number of complaints. This fox was a shifter, I could tell. And I knew one thing, I didn't like her. She was stuck up, at least from what I could tell. And any people that were stuck up didn't rightly deserve to be here. A low rumble merged into the air around me as it escaped my throat. The fox didn't hear it, she was up wind, but those few humans around me ran. I was behind a bush, in a ditch made by human machines. No one knew I was lurking, waiting to make the kill. Ok, maybe not killing the little fox, maybe just....ruffing up a bit.
« SPCA. Shit. The fox took off running from the slightly larger women. Myself? I slinked off after the fox, treading quietly over the leaves and grass of the park. People wouldn't chase me, they knew well that I could eat them if they even dared to look at me the wrong way. The fox knew I was here. Maybe she didn't know who or what I am, but she knows that she's being watched. And what a brave little being she is if she calls out to me, the watcher, wanting me to show myself. Almost bored she seemed, but I could have sworn it was her rappid little heart beat I could hear echoing through the trails. My tongue flickered over my lips as I blinked my piercing blue eyes. And when her last words were heard, my ears were pinned, but I did not show myself. Instead, I spoke with a low, warning voice which echoed all around us. "Oh so now you're taunting me." I growled and pushed my way through the bushes, raising to my full size. My paws made loud thuds against the ground as I walked with pinned ears. "Big mistake little fur ball." I growled through gritted teath before opening my mouth and letting out a roar. Not quite as loud as that of a lion, but damn could I be heard.
« When I was done, I closed my mouth and took a step forward, moving relitively quickly toward the small body of fluff. "Care to take a challenge little shifter?" I grinned and stared her down with my light gray/blue tinted eyes.

Oh good god. What. the . hell. have. I. Gotten. Myself. Into.
I was gonna die.. But I wouldn't give up without a fight. Like I said before, foxes are fast little devils. Not as fast as a cheetah, but faster than an overgrown black cat. Scanning the beast's form, I smirked. Filled with malicious intent, my claws dug into the ground. I wasn't the... strongest thing out there. And I'm fairly sure that up against a panther, from what my nose told me, I would get some fairly big scratches. But amazingly, as I was freaking out inside. Nothing leaked out. My scent was normal, if a tad bit courageous. My face was lit up with a devilish grin, and staring straight into the panther's eyes I felt a strong hate.
Was it bad to crave attention for a FEW seconds?! My anger was mounting, the vixen was awaking and slowly I was losing control. But, with tail lashing and my eyes narrowed I felt my anger sweeping off me in waves.
Yes, children, when it comes to me being angry... I'm a completely different person. And, I'll definitely attack. No matter what you do. So, those that are small run away, those that are large beware. Heh. But here I am, going off about how bad I am when my rage reaches a point of no return. Let's get back to what's currently happening.
Looking up to the panther, who was above me now. I smiled darkly. Knowing fully well that she was stronger. "Depends on where you stand kitty." Blankly, I turned round. Walking off and into a bush, I continued on. The japanese garden around me was very pretty. And a fox suited the territory easily, my ears were ringing from that roar still. And it was mighty loud. I had to admit. It wasn't good for my ears to here that. Specially my fox ears. Ow.
I looked around, there were no humans from the area around here. But I heard boots. Heavy boots. Slinking into a bush and looking up, I saw something that freaked me out. It was a scientist. Looking at the bush I was hiding in carefully, I relaxed a bit. Realizing it was a floral scientist. Whatever those things are called.
I sat in the bush for a few seconds, sniffing the air calmly. The anger gone thanks to walking it off easily. I'm fairly sure if I still had that same fury, I would've attacked the scientist just then. And, humans have no fur. Which means easier to damage. But, I need to stay focused! For just a few minutes, I need to stay calm.
Laying down, I felt very temperamental. Able to change my moods in a flash. This must be a side-effect of being a fox. To balance out my human emotions and intermingle them with the foxes own emotions.
I briefly wondered where the panther was, my eyes flickering around the bush. The bush itself was strong smelling to my nose, and I felt the need to plug it up. This was apparently a basil leaf bush, and the scent was a bit too strong for my nose. Walking out of the bush coughing from the smell, I took in a deep breath of fresh air.
My guard was still up, and if anything I was tense.
Where was she?

What a damn little bugger. Corrina snarled to herself as the fox walked off like a bitch. The panther stood still, listening to the quiet movements of the sneaky devil. Was she afraid or simply overly cocky. Corri still couldn't quite tell, but it didn't matter. She wanted to find the little beast and teach her a lession. Injury? Or just a scare. Her scent was picked up and slowly, Corrina slinked off into the wooded area downwind so she could not be sensed. The woods wern't working out so eventually the panther slinked off and on to the path. Stupid fox. She could be seen in plain sight from where the big cat stood. It was like she was asking to be pounced on. Slowly and steadily she moved toward the bush in which the orangish colored fur ball had laid herself down.
Attackkkk!
Not really of course. Simply a race through the bush, a loud roar of anger, and a swipe with her large paw in the rats direction. Her claws, however, were kept in as to keep herself out of real trouble with the deans. No need to get expelled when she had learned a few things here. So much more was needed then getting expelled. Corrina didn't really know what her paw hit, but she knew that whatever was it, was hit with a force. Ok ok, so she really hoped that little bitch went flying. Hit a tree maybe? Something painful. But no worries if she missed.
Her fighting stance was held as she prepaired for a fight. Maybe just a bitch off. "Little runt. Watch yourself. And don't ever turn your back to me." Yeah. A warning. There would be problems. There really would be problems, if it happened again.

"Eh? Call me that now when your a panther, but you seem to be quite the worm in the ground from my point of view." I said, I was calm, panic gone replaced by a steady current of anger. Before, when the black thing roared, I had barely missed. In fact, if it wasn't for the branch that she had sent flying up on accident, I would probably be up in a tree. "Think you got power because your a panther? That gives you no excuse whatsoever." My canine lips formed from my mouth as I said the words like actual poison.
My tail lashed, I was small, fast, and deadly. My claws were naturally unsheathed, so if I cut the girl, then the chance of getting suspended was definite. But, I'd definitely leave her some good scars now and then. My eyes flashed, teeth were bared dangerously. Claws dug into the hard ground, feeling power course through my veins.
I stared straight into the jaguar's eyes, my own dark brown eyes were seemingly black from the tainted scarlet coat that I wore. Tail lashing still, I waited with amazing calmness to see what the panther would do. My eyes flicked over to a tree, that would be the safest place for me to hide. It had thin branches and it was high up. The only thing that ran through my head was: 'thank you GOD for Pine Trees.'
There was a tense silence, the scientist from before was alerted by the roar. And came running into the clearing suddenly, a smile on his face he brought out a shotgun from his coat pocket. My ears swiveled towards him, realizing all of a sudden that he wasn't a floral scientist. My eyes narrowed at the scientist as he aimed the gun towards me, then the panther.I growled at him, not wanting to speak carelessly since the scientist realized that the panther girl was a shifter.
My head lowered to the ground, I suddenly took off, running as fast as my body would let me. I lunged towards the scientist, who was completely taken aback. Thinking I had rabies, he turned trying to run. Luckily I managed to bite down on his leg, letting out a scream of pain he started to run. Me, I let go of the leg, watching the scientist run off.

And what the hell is this about? Little fox thinks Corrina is only powerful and bitchy in her shift. Hell. No. She's actually very similar in her human form except, in her shift she holds back an attack. If she was in her human form as well as the fox, she would have decked the girl by now. THere was a silence. Great. A silence. Corrina didn't want to move her eyes off the fox. No time for a sneak attack, even if it wouldn't be her death. Suddenly the foxes attention shifted. No longer was Corri the object of interest to the fur ball, but a scientist. As Corri shifted her eyes to the human, she growled. She wouldn't attack him since she figured he knew she was a shifter.
Apparently she didn't have to either. The orange fox charged past the panther, guided on speedy limbs as she attacked the human. He didn't realize she was a shift. And it's a good thing he didn't, or she would be reported for attacking a member of the human public. The human ran off as the fox stood glaring after him. Corri was dumb founded. Why did she attack? Maybe in her mind the human was a threat? Corrina didn't quite realize that he could have actually shot the shifter. It was hard to put herself in the fur balls shoes. With a low rumble Corrina walked steadily to stand at the side of the fox. Her paws extended each time they landed softly on the ground. Her head was low as her mouth was held open, scenting the air around them. Humans. She hated them. They totally didn't understand shifters. But they were lucky that this place's humans put up with them.
As Corrina stood at the side of the fox she growled. "Way to chase him off." A compliment, spoken in not the nicest of tones. She was shocked that the small animal had such guts. It was nice to meet someone who could stand up to someone else when they happen to tower over them. Corrina still didn't like her though. They wouldn't be friends. Not with the ammount of respect she had gotten. With a growl and stalked off into the woods, not really wanting to mess with the tiny scrap of meat anymore.

"Thanks." Was all I said. I looked around the area, the man was yelling at some police men. And I decided it was my time to go. The panther girl also seemed to go, and almost immediately I changed back into a human. Wiping the blood off my teeth and lips, I looked perfectly fine. Cept it seemed like I had a nose bleed, which I didn't.
I stretched, my arms high above my head as the scientist came runnin back to where "the fox" was. The police followed suit, the scientist looked around completely bewildered. 'What the hell?! Where'd that stupid fox go!??!' The man had a gun in his hand, and I got slightly ticked off at what he called me. "Stupid fox my ass." I muttered, the police men came up to me and asked if I had seen a fox around here. Acting all pretty, I said "no Officer. I don't like animals."
With their back turned I snickered like a jester playing a prank. I was that kind of gal, I didn't care who the hell it was. I would always play with their head a bit. Looking back casually to where the panther girl went off to, I shrugged. Turning around and walking down the path, enjoying the flowers and the likes. It was all very pretty you could say. A hummingbird wizzed past me, and I saw a couple turtles down in the river bed.
My oh my, It was quite the day too. Bowling later on would be fun... With the guy.. Chase right? The one she met online... Eh, he seemed pretty cool enough for a tiger. Brushing my hair behind my shoulders, I smirked darkly. Sometimes, humans other than shifters could be such idiots. Specially the adults, I mean, the economy may drop because of all the crap their trying to control.
"All a basis of who has the strongest power I guess. Makes no account for me whatsoever." I told myself out loud, walking off under the shade of the trees.
