outfit! (click)
So it had been...what. Three weeks since she last saw Chase. It had been a month since they fucked that night in her dorm. A few days after that they ran into eachother at the activity center but other then that, she hadn't really seen him. She had been spending a lot of time alone. Alone and depressed. She tried to think about the good things! About how close of a friend she seemed to be to Chase. But that didn't quite float her boat to well. Instead, it made her boat sink. To the bottom of the icy cold Atlantic Ocean.
So she tried to be happy. She tried to look to the good part of her current situation. And when she couldn't find that good part, she just asked for a little help! Alcoholic beverages had become regular on her menu for the past two weeks. She was having Chase withdrawl I guess you could say. So it was around 11 30 at night and here she came! Walking down the street in a pair of purposely worn and torn flare jeans with black heals, a strapless purple cheeta top, and sunglasses, pushed up on her head. Her hair was pulled back into a messy bun and her bangs hung freely in her face.
Yet she managed to look stunning as she walked down the brick road to an outdoor bar on the little ally way. With a smile she slid on to a stool and set her purse beside her. "One strawberry daquiry please. Go ahead and put an extra shot in there. I'm of age." A lie, of course. But oh well. It wasn't like there were really any cops in this place. Who would know. Who would even care.
So maybe she had a few more after that first one. Maybe like....7 more. Extra shots just kept on comming. And Corrina...was wasted. Her laughter could be heard all down the block at 12 47 am. The guy that stood behind the bar just looked at her with amusement as she finished up her 8th daquiry. She was extreamly drunk. And...way happy. Thank goodness she wasn't one of those types who got angry when they got drunk of what a bad thing this would be.
As the bartender slid her another one, this without an extra shot to be sure she wouldn't die, Corri stood up from her stood and slid herself up and over the bar counter, throwing herself at this guy she didn't even know. Of course he didn't mind. He wrapped his arms around her and tugged her shirt up over her head. But now...Corri was uncomfortable. She laughed and pushed him off playfully and tugged her shirt back on. To bad she couldnt get away... This stranger wasn't planning on letting her go. And even if he did, it wasn't like she could get herself up and over the counter by herself.

Chase casually walked into the bar, a bit later than his typical time. It had been a busy day, and he was ready to relax a bit. But, before he could even sit down on those uncomfortable stools, he heard quite a ruckuss across the room. At that moment, his eyes caught site of some guy trying to get the shirt off of Corri. She had attempted to put it back on and get away from him, but the guy wasn't giving in. As anger began to well up within Chase, he stormed across the hardwood floor and grabbed the guy by the back of his collar. The guy's hands fell from Corri as he swung around to face Chase. The man laughed, sending a cloud of alcohol-drenched breath into Chase's face, causing him to cringe in disgust. "Leave the lady alone...get out of here, or I'll make you."
He gave the man a soft shove away, then turned back towards Corri. Almost instantly, he realized that Corri was extremely drunk as well. Her motor skills were totally off, and he watched her with a sigh as she rearranged her clothing. His mouth curled into a frown, and his brows furrowed as he reached out, grasping her by the arm. He pulled her behind him, pushing others out of the way as he neared the door, then exited the bar and tugged Corri onto the sidewalk. He faced her, grabbing her face in his hands, gently, so that he did not hurt her, but firm enough to allow her to realize his anger. "Corri, what are you doing? You shouldn't be out drinking so late, especially when you're alone." He knew her judgement was clouded when she was drunk, hell...so was his, but he didn't want to bring that to her attention right now...she wouldn't remember it anyway, or take him seriously. "Now come on, do you want to go home or somewhere else? You don't need to stay here."

Corrina laughed lightly to herself as she fell into a little pile of a drunken mess on the hardwood floor as Chase cleared out the worker guy. Laughter continued out of her mouth lightly as she happily followed Chase outside on unsteady legs. She didn't know who he was at that moment in time, but once they got outside, she was pretty sure of who it was. As his hands lightly grasped her face, her smile vanished as she winced to make his image focus. It was hard, being drunk. Well...this drunk anyways. When he spoke first, she just continued to wince, trying to see who was speaking to her in the first place. He knew her name. She picked that up real quickly. And he seemed to care for her. But she couldn't see him! As his second sentence floated through the air, she knew who it was by the sound of his voice.
"C-chase? Chaseeee!" She smiled and threw her arms around him to give him a hug but instead fell into him, laughing lightly at her stupidity. As she leaned into him she thought a little bit about what he said a moment earlier. "Sssom wer else? I like't here!" Her speach sounded a bit french as her words slurred selectively together. At least she wasnt so out of it she passed out. That would suck. And be embaressing. As she clung to him, she listened to see if he had anything else to say. Maybe he would buy her a drink. With a smile, she pulled away from him, stumbled a bit, but caught her balanced and smiled happily. "Hayy! Ken you buy mea drrnk?" She exclaimed this in a fairly happy manner as she gazed into his eyes. Wow did he look hot tonight. Hmm...what happened last time she got drunk..

center] [/center] "No. His voice was stern, solid, and a bit harsh. He wasn't neccessarily angry at Corri, persay, but she was the one that would suffer the consequenses, she was the one he cared for. He took her again by the arm, trying to steady her from her drunken stupor. "Come on, I think its time to go home. You've had enough to drink for the both of us." He pulled her closer to him, then swung her arm over his shoulders and around his neck. He then held onto her waste, keeping her upright and semi-steady. In a few moments, they were walking down the street, or at least attempting to, and Chase's anger was beginning to fade away.
A few moments later, Chase looked at Corri as she continued to randomly laugh. His brows rose with a bit of wonder, why was she doing this? Yes, Chase knew that Corri liked to drink, but he didn't think she'd be the type to just let herself go in this way. When he had been there, having fun with her, that was one thing - but being at a bar and drenching herself in alcohol while she was alone, among only strangers...it just didn't seem to be the common sense that the girl possessed. "Corri, why are you doing this? Why did you go to that bar alone? Please, I would really like to know..." Though he felt a bit bad about this, he wondered if the alcohol would allow her to actually tell the truth. Maybe she would let her guard down and reveal a bit more about herself to Chase. He didn't want to take advantage of her, but something just seemed...off...and it was starting to bother and worry him.

The flat out no seemed like a slap in the face to Corri as the smile completely vanished and the laughter stopped. But when Chase spoke again, she sighed and smiled up at him, allowing him to help her walk home to her dorm. As they walked along, it became a bit hard to walk in heals, but she still managed, laughing every so often as she stumbled over the uneven ground. When Chase looked down at her and began to speak, she turned her head to gaze up at him and listen. When he finished speaking, she laughed. By now they were at the bottom of the stairs to the girls dorm. They had stopped moving as Corri laughed rather hard to herself about her reasoning for going out and getting smashed. She cleared her throat and remained calm though as they walked up the stairs and to her room. Yes she had the key, but she couldn't seem to get it in the door so Chase did it for her. As they both entered the room and the door shut behind them, Corrina sighed and laughed lightly as she slid out of her shoes and fell swiftly to the floor. That would have hurt if she wasn't drunk.
"Why did I do get drunk? Haahha. Becuz tis guy I like isnt intew dating me. Its coo though. I'm drinkin it all awaayyyyy!" There was so much more. So so much more. A bit of her past had something to do with it actually. But in that statement, she didn't reveal much. She was with it enough to answer truthfully and out of it enough to not hide her feelings. Perfect for Chase. If only he could understand her or...make sure she didn't get a concussion.
