Ok so being a girl and in human form Corrina didn't really expect to win. She actually did better then she thought though. As they raced off across the parking lot, she once again got a head start but lost her energy shortly after they hit the half way point. She laughed as Chase ran ahead and beat her to the dorms. When she finally caught up she placed her hand gently on his shoulder to use as support as she slowed her breathing. "I figured....you'd win....." She said through rapid breaths. As she let her hand fall from his shoulder, the other reached up to run through her bangs and push them out of her face before walking up the steps to her room. A key was pulled from her pocket and used to unlock the door and enter. Half of the room was her roomies area, the other was hers. The theam on her side was dark purple and gold and everything was neat and in place.
"This is my place. Not much, but it works." She shrugged and looked through a drawer to grab a pair of skinny jeans and a deep purple colored shirt to wear. Oh, bra and undies were needed too instead of a bikini. She didn't bother to hide the black under clothing as she walked from her room past Chase to the bathroom. When the door shut she stripped and got redressed. Her hands reached up to undo the messy bun she had and let her hair fall down around her shoulders beautifully curled. She smiled into the mirror before leaving the room and grabbing flip flops and a sweatshirt. A smile appeared as she spotted chase. She didn't want to leave her room just yet but she didn't want to do anything rash. "So...how long have you been here?" She questioned as she pulled the sweatshirt over her head. It was a golden color with royal blue lettering on it spelling out P A N T H E R. Corrina leaned against the wall by the door to exit as she waited to see what Chase had to say.

Chase thought about letting the female win, but two different thoughts made him decide otherwise. The first - what if she didn't want him to let her win? She seemed like the type of girl who could hold up on her own, and didn't want "special treatment" just because she was a girl. Besides, she had won before as her shift, so it wouldn't be unreasonable for him to win now. So then there was the second reason why he had to beat her...because he was Chase, because when he got into it, he needed to win, he needed to do his best, and there was little anyone could do to stop it. In his human form, he was much more competitive than as his shift, so even if he had wanted to just let her win, it wouldn't have made a difference.
The boy ran up to the dorm, then stopped, leaning over with his hands on his knees as his shoulders heaved up and down - he wasn't in as good a shape as he used to be. He looked over his shoulder as the girl came up next to him, "Beat you this time..." he managed to say between breaths. "I love running, its just a shame I don't get to do it as much anymore." Chase smiled as he stood back up, stretching his arms up and bending his back to relax his muscles. Corri's hand then landed gently on Chase's shoulder, and for a moment, his mind went blank. Luckily, he was able to gather his thoughts quickly, and made no reaction to her soft touch.
He followed her up to her room and walked through the door. The room was laid out in a similar fashion to his own, just different decorations. He pulled out one of the desk chairs and sat down as he waited for Corri to get ready. Chase's pupil's widened slightly as the girl pulled the undergarments from her drawer, and he let out a deep sigh as she went into the sink area to change.
Corri dressed quickly, and came back into the room where Chase sat. Her long hair now fell over petite shoulders, making her look even prettier than before. He shifted in the chair as Corri directed a question to him. "I've been here a few weeks, its been kindof nice because my roommate hasn't been around yet, even though I hear he's supposed to be pretty cool. But yeah, the weather hasn't been the best for exploring, so I've been stuck inside most of the time." He glanced at her as she pulled the sweatshirt over her head, giving a little chuckle as he read the bold letters across the front. The girl then leaned against the wall, almost as if she was hesitant to leave.
Just as Chase was fixing to stand up, he heard a loud sound outside. Instantly, his blue eyes drifted towards the window, just as large droplets of clear liquid began to strike the window. It had been rather cloudy all day, but Chase assumed it would all be snow. But it seemed as though the rains had moved in, and it was coming down like cats and dogs outside. He glanced over at Corri, a somewhat disappointed look upon his face. "Well uh...I guess that screws up our plans...the activity center is on the opposite side of town, and I don't really want to get soaked when its this cold outside..." Chase chuckled again, then began to wonder what the two should do instead. Finally, he stood, but instead of walking towards the door, he walked towards the window and kept his eyes focused on the looming clouds and falling rain.

Corrina knew that Chase had seen the letters on her shirt and that was what his smirk was about. No worries. She didn't care. It wasn't a negitive smirk anyways. So he had been here for a few weeks, but alone. Corrina wasn't alone. Her roomate was here before she was, but she didn't mind. Her roomate wasn't around the dorm when she was so there wasn't much interaction. Chase was right about the weather in the last few weeks. It had been pretty nasty. Rain, snow, wind. It wasn't real good weather for exploring outside.
So now what? There wasn't much to do in the dorm. And Corri wasn't really to fond on standing around doing nothing. She was someone who would much rather take a walk or something. Suddenly, the light snow shifted to heavy rain. Chase reacted to this as well, standing and walking to the window. Corri just sighed and looked to the ground. As he spoke, she lifted her head to look at him. Wow he was really cute. She smiled as this thought ran through her head. "Yeah. Oh well....wana go for a walk around the dorm halls?" She figured since most people hadn't yet arrived for the term that people wouldn't mind if they were walking through the halls.
She didn't quite know if Chase wanted to go out though. She didn't really want to leave the room but she didn't want it to be awkward. Anything but awkward. Corri smiled at him before adjusting herself to stand straight, instead of lean against the door. Her hands searched her pockets for the usual, her phone and iPod. Where had she put them?! Corrina sighed and rolled her eyes as she walked across the room to the desk beside her bed. After moving a few papers around she found her iPod. Now to get her phone. "Damnit! I'm so unorganized." She was talking to herself, but outloud so Chase could hear. Corrina picked up her pillows and moved her blankets around but it was no where.

Chase turned back around as Corri spoke again, suggesting a walk around the dorms. Chase frowned, not quite sure if that would really be entertaining...ha. Instead, he looked around the room, his mouth moving to the side as he searched for some sort of activity. His blue eyes then turned back towards Corri, a laugh escaping from his lips. "Yeah, I know how you feel...I lose things all the time." The boy watched as she picked up her iPod from the bed, then continued searching for something else. "What kind of songs do you have on there?" Upon walking in, Chase had noticed an alarm clock on her roommate's nightstand with an iPod hookup on the top of it. He motioned his head in that direction, "I don't think she'd mind if we used her speakers, do you?" The other objects belonging to Corri's roommate implied that this girl probably was not the one to let other people mess with her crap...but if she wasn't there, what was the harm? It wasn't like they would break it.
Chase walked up to Corri, and gently took the iPod from her petite hands, then preceded to place it into the adapter on the clock. He clicked the 'on' button, and allowed the music to begin playing whatever song it had already been on. He nodded in approval as "Hello, Goodbye" by The Beatles was emitted from the small speakers. "Good song, good song...I have this one on mine too." He turned back towards Corri, then began to move some of the clothes and such out of the way with his foot. He shoved them under the beds and against the other furniture, not knowing which girl the items belonged to. "There we go, now we have more room." The tanned boy then stuck out one hand toward the girl, "Know how to dance? Not the best song for it...but still, fun?"

Corri smiled at his laugh, though he probably didnt see since she was turned away from him. She liked when people laughed. It always brought a smile to her face. He asked about her iPod, causing her to pause for a moment and think. As she straightened out from her bent over to search position, she glanced at her roomates alarm&speakers. No..she probably wouldn't mind..but it wasn't like Corrina was going to tell her. Before she could answer his question about what types of music she listens to, he gently took the iTouch from her and placed it into the adapter. "uhm..." She tried to straighten out her thoughts, wanting to answer his question.
Before she could though, he seemed to find out. Hello Goodbye began to play from the black speakers across the small room. She smiled at the calm music and watched as Chase pushed some of her clothing as well as her roomates out of the way. Curious as to what he was doing, she lifted her eyes to see his face. An eyebrow raised as he held out his hand and spoke. Dancing?! Uhm..uh...no...? "I..don't really dance..." She laughed nervously, wanting to accept his hand, but not to dance. Just to touch him. You say goodbye...and I say hello....hello hello! Don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello. Hello hello! I don't know why you say goodbye i say hello. Corrina listened as the song continued on and she stood there, biting her lip, hesitating this idea of dancing. She didn't want to give up though, she wasn't a quitter. Especially since it wasn't something she had started yet. Corrina took a step forward and placed her hand in his, smiling up an inch or so at him. "But I think I'll give it a try." She smiled.

The girl's words made it seem as though she was uneasy - perhaps that had not been a good idea either. The corner's of Chase's mouth curled down into a frown, and he began to lower his hand. But at that moment, Corri's mind seemed to change, and as her confidence took over, she placed her hand into his own. His expression now matched the girl's - a gentle smile, ready to try something new. "I'm sure you'll be fine...I'm not that great either." A lie. No, not a lie...at least not to Chase. He never thought he was very good at dancing, even though his "sport-like" activities also consisted of the dance club at his school. That had mainly been for fun, for a break, and so he and his friends could show off to other people with the neat tricks they could do.
Chase placed one hand on the girl's hip, while the other still held her hand. The two got moving, and Chase attempted to stick with the simple stuff. With the hand on her hip, Chase pushed Corri away, still holding onto her hand and allowing her to twist around. He then pulled her back to his body again, continuing on as the song played. "When dancing for fun, it doesn't matter what you look like, or if you're actually with the music or not. Its just fun, you just have to let yourself go. Its probably easier to do well dancing for the first time rather than bowling." Chase chuckled, since those earlier plans had, at the least, been put on hold for a while. "In bowling, if you miss, it can be a bit disappointing...." the volume of his voice lowered, and he gently smiled while looking at the ground. "With dancing, there isn't anything to miss...you just have to make sure you don't step on your partner." His head tilted back up, and his shining blue eyes met up with Corri's.
Chase paused for a moment, and allowed Corri's hand to drop down beside her. "Want to try something cool? I won't drop you, I swear..." Though Corri seemed to be hesitant at first of things she wasn't used to, she also seemed as though she was quick to warm up, and would at least attempt anything. Hopefully, this too would be rather entertaining for the girl. "Ok, lean over, this way..." he bent her over gently, "...and stick your hands between your legs..." Explaining it seemed a bit awkward, but really, there wasn't anything that would be considered inappropriate about it, he was just somewhat close to her butt. "Ok, there, now...grab my hands..." Chase moved around infront of her, leaning over just enough to where he could reach her. His thick fingers wrapped around her small wrists, making sure he had a secure, yet flexible grip. "Ok, here we go...one...two...THREE!" In an instant, Chase had pulled Corri's arms towards him, causing her head and upper body to flip over and come through her legs. As her legs followed upward and around, they landed abruptly on Chase's upper arms, and with a small bounce, he shifted her body to allow for a perfect landing on his shoulders. Now, this position was actually a bit different than before - the girl was up on his shoulders, yet facing him, causing them to be extremely close.

Ok so dancing didn't see that hard. A lot easier then she expected. When Chase spoke about just moving the way they wanted to move instead of going with the music, it seemed to make things a bit easier. She laughed lightly as he told her that the only thing that could go wrong would be stepping on your partner. So far, that had not happened. Yay. When he looked at her with his beautiful blue eyes, she couldn't help but stop moving. He did too, letting her hand fall to her side as she gazed up at him with a smile.
He spoke again, asking if she wanted to try something. Corri hesitated but shrugged after a few moments and smiled. As he told her what to do she didn't quite understand so he helped her. Ok, talk about awkward...at least..the position she was in was. She giggled slightly at the thoughts that ran though her head. She was so freaking naughty sometimes! But she said nothing. Instead she gripped on to his hands softly but firmly, just as he had gripped on to hers. He counted. One...two...three! She closed her eyes and felt the motion happen quickly as his muscles worked.
Oh wow. One eye opened slightly to see where she was been. Gradually they both opened to see that she was on Chase's upper arms, almost on his shoulders. She smiled at him since now she was a little higher up them him. It was nice to be tall. If only for a moment. It was quiet as she smiled down at him. He was really strong, she could tell as the muscles in his arms flexed to hold her lean figure up. She couldn't help it. It was calling out that she should do it. To early? Oh well. He should know that she wasn't one to keep many things to herself. Corrina smiled softly at him and leaned her face down towards his. A soft kiss on the lips. Breath taking, time stopping. Short but something to remember.

Chase smiled as the girl laughed, glad that she enjoyed the little trick. As he looked up at her, his muscles keeping her body steady, she leaned over, kissing him gently on the lips. Without thinking, Chase fell deeply into the kiss as well. He dropped her legs from over him, allowing them to hit the ground where she could stand. He wrapped one arm around Corri's waste, pulling her closer to him, their bodies touching. He lifted his other hand, and ran it gently through her hair, moving it out of her face as the kiss continued.
This wasn't what he had come for. This wasn't what he had expected, nor what he wanted. He should've left, he didn't want to wind up breaking her. But - Chase stayed. His body was already consumed by Corri, and it was not going to allow him to leave. He hadn't been in a relationship for years, the girls at his old school were only interested in his looks and status. They never took the time to get to know Chase, or to talk with him, or go out and do stuff with him. They just wanted him because they knew he was someone they could never have. They wanted him for the popularity. They wanted him because, if there was even the slightest chance of him liking them in return, the were 'in,' and had a world of opportunities opened up to them.
But Corri, she was different, though possibly, too different. He liked the girl, yes...he had fun with her, they were definitely friends. But, did he want an actual relationship with her? Or at least, did he want one now? They had only been here a short while - possibly their immediate want for each other was only based on the face that they were both in a strange place, taken away from the world they knew and thrust into a world of strangers and loneliness. Perhaps, being this close to someone only served as a temporary release for any frustration and stress that they had gone through recently. Perhaps they were both trying to force themselves to move on, to adjust to their new life, to get others to accept them. There Chase was, once more, wondering if it was all about acceptance. However, he had to admit, this was all much different than high school had been. It was not people trying to make it into an infamous clique - it was simply people trying to survive, to have some sort of life, to have some sense of belonging, no matter what it was.
What the hell...why was Chase thinking so much? At that point, everything seemed to go blank, and, sad to say, Chase's rush of testosterone overwhelmed his mind, taking over. He leaned over, his lips still locked with Corri's, and scooped her up into his arms. Carefully, he carried her over to her bed, laying her down on her back as he climbed over her.

She just wanted to see what it would be like to kiss him, but as their lips touched, she didn't want it to stop, and obviously, neither did he. As the kiss went on, she felt his muscles slowly relaxing as she slid off his arms and landed softly on the floor. Corrina felt his arm wrap around her, his other reaching up to push her hair out of her face to kiss her even more. She couldn't think. She didn't want to think. She just wanted a kiss. She didn't know her body would want more. Her arms found their way to his chest where they lightly rested, pressed against his body as well as the rest of her body.
His body seemed to want more as well. As the kiss continued, Corrina shifted to wrap her arms around his neck as he picked her up and carried her over to her bed. Her body wanted this so bad. Her mind? It didn't seem to think this was the right time. But as he climbed on top of her, continuing the kiss, her mind became unreactive. All negitive thoughts of the situation seemed to vanish. She would willingly let what was going on so far continue. But how far would she let it go?
Her arms reached up around him and pulled him closer to her as she continued to kiss him, a little rougher now, but still gentle in its own way. Her eyes flickered open for a moment as she losened her grip and pulled away slightly to take a breath. A smile never left her face. She couldn't help it. Even as they stopped kissing, she didn't second guess what they were doing. Would he? Corrina was a little concerned about going to far. When she first met him, she sensed that he needed to warm up to her. Did he still need that space? Or was he comfortable enough around her to start kissing her again instead of her resuming the kiss.

Once Corri had relaxed on the bed, she pulled Chase closer to her, kissing him more passionately than before. But then, she pulled away, which seemed to make Chase's heart skip a beat. A concerned look was plastered upon his face, but the muscles relaxed once more as he caught sight of the smile still upon Corri's delicate face. Again, he ran his hand through her brunette hair, allowing it to also slide down her cheek, followed by her chin. He leaned over, placing another kiss on her lips. His hands moved down the sides of her lean body, stopping as he neared the edge of her "PANTHER" sweatshirt. Slowly, his hands moved under it, pulling it up and over her head.
After tossing the sweatshirt onto the floor, he looked back at the pretty girl infront of him, his smile momentarily fading. "If you don't want to do this, we don't have to. Its your choice - I don't want to make you uncomfortable." His voice was sincere, and the words he uttered were completely truthful, though extremely hard to actually say. Even though his body seemed as though it was under some sort of spell, he was still able to take heed to the girl's wants, and he didn't want to be too forceful or upset her. As he waited for her to decide the course of their actions, Chase couldn't help but smile as he looked down on her. He leaned over her once again, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. He then placed his arms on the bed on either side of Corri, supporting himself while in an "all-fours" position.

He seemed hurt at first as she pulled away. As he noticed her smile, he seemed a little more relieved. So he wasn't afraid to kiss her. Good. She kissed back softly, her lips moving gracefully with his as his hands slid down her sides and up under her sweatshirt to pull it up and over her head. She gladly let him take it off since she was getting a bit hot. He had to stop the kiss as the sweatshirt went up over her head but as it hit the ground he didn't start up again. He seemed a bit concerned again, speaking now, asking her if she really wanted what he wanted. If she was sure about this. She sighed and gently wrapped her arms around his neck, holding them lightly in place, making sure not to apply any pressure cause it would hurt later.
Another sigh but she continued to smile up at him. Her eyes flickered closed as he kissed her forehead. As she began to speak, her eyes remained closed. "It's not that I don't want to do this.." Her eyes opened now. "Because believe me...I do. But we sorta just met...and yeah I'd consider you a good friend, someone who I can be myself around, but were not dating. And stuff any farther then what we've already accomplished on the topic of sexual stuff doesn't sit well with me when its done between people who arnt really dating." She took a moment to let that sink in. Did his....manlyness get the message? She smiled gently up at him, pulling herself up towards him to kiss him lightly. "It just doesn't seem right..ya know? But don't get me wrong. I like you....a lottt..." She giggled and turned her head to look away. Hopefully he wasn't to hurt by that. Being a guy though...he would probably end up leaving her now. Going to a different girl that he could probably 'get with'. Oh well. She was just being honest about what she was feeling. Though she had to admit...if he did that...ran off with some other chick..she'd be fairly pissed.

As Corri wrapped her arms around Chase's neck, a chill ran down his spine, causing a rather - um - awkward presence to appear...he was a guy, ya know. He tried to ignore it, it was a bit uncomfortable for him, and he didn't know if Corri would react or if she understood that he was, in fact, a male...and couldn't control such things. Lucky for her, she didn't have any physical indication of being turned on. But then, Corri began to speak, and just her act of keeping her lovely eyes closed made Chase realize where this was going. He let out a disappointed sigh, though he didn't mean to - it had been brought on by the hormones, not his actual mind. "Yes, yes, I know exactly how you feel - that's what I'm thinking too. Its just...hard..." he gave an uncomfortable chuckle. "I like you too, and I don't want to ruin this...so yeah, maybe we should get to know each other alittle more."
With that, Chase slid off the bed, extending his hand towards Corri to help pull her up as well. He glanced once more out the window, noting that the rain seemed to be letting up. He smiled, then pulled Corri quickly towards him, embracing her against his body once again. "Seems as though the weather is more on our side now...time to bowl?" He didn't want to leave her - for one, because he didn't want her to think that he was disappointed, nor that sex was the only thing he wanted from her. Also, he just...wanted to be around her, so why not carry out their earlier plans? Besides, bowling would be a nice, interactive way for them to entertain themselves in a public place. They could have fun, instead of staying somewhere alone and being awkward.
