Personality::
Ariel’s lives within her selective clique, a small group of her best and closest friends, and her life revolves around really great gossip and really cute boys. She’s what you would call the ‘in’ girl; you know, the girl that knows everything that’s going on in her world; the hot chick that’s up on the latest fashion, the one that all the boys want and all the girls want to be. The adoring look on boys’ faces is what she loves to see every day, what she gets up for in the morning… and the envious look on girls’ faces isn’t too bad either. Her overall personality is true to her feline other half, though some would say she’s more like a housecat than a jungle cat. Ariel is dominating and bossy and she loves her life at the top of the metaphorical food chain. Unless you have the latest info on what’s what, there’s very little chance she’s going to be interested. She’s been called an ‘attention whore’ and a ‘prep’, but her ‘hotter-than-you’ attitude is only a cover-up. Deep down, Ariel is a kitten, soft and easy to love, she gets along with all kinds of people, but her craving to maintain her wonderful reputation and not loose the attention of her current friends keeps her away form anyone outside her group.Likes:: Shiny jewelry, sunny days, boys, cats, movies, diamonds, dressing pretty, juicy gossip
Dislikes:: Rain, loud noises, fat people, ugliness, dogs, most other girls, being wrong, peanut butter (and other sticky things)
Strengths:: Bold, beautiful, intelligent
Weaknesses:: anger problems, sales at the mall, chocolate
Fears:: Tornadoes, being alone, being unattractive

Introduction::
Ariel was born into one of the most wealthy families in Scotland. She grew up in a big white house by the sea shore, though it seemed more to her like a castle at the time. For the first several years of her life she was free to run and play on the beach to her heart’s content, experiencing things that a common lion would never get to come close to and being able to run on four big, clumsy paws like no normal human could ever do.Animal Shift::
She had a mother, a trophy wife in all her charming, well trained glory; a father, a well groomed business man that knew only how to make money and look nice in front of strangers; and an older brother, educated and fake just like everyone else. It was a dream life to everyone on the outside--they all longed to be that family that was so perfect and happy, living in the big house and enjoying easy days on the beach watching dolphins jumping the tides and seals sunning on the shore.
But that was just to the people looking from the outside. Inside, it was chaos.
Ariel and her father were the only shifters of the family. It was hidden from the rest of the world, but in their home it couldn’t be kept a secret. Her mother was a normal woman, bound to a single form and having to live with the fact that her husband and daughter were freaks. She petted, pampered her son and even seemed to encourage him when he taunted his little sister.
One would think her father would understand, would help her survive in this pathetic excuse for a home, but every time he turned the other way, not encouraging or discouraging mother and son ganging up on, abusing his small daughter. And she hated him for it. Because Ariel wasn’t stupid, she knew that it was her father’s way of apologizing.
He had entered his marriage without telling his wife of his ability to shift, thinking that it would not be passed down to his children, that he could hide it for the rest of his life with no further problems. But things changed the day he found his wife screaming and crying on the floor on the nursery. No mother is prepared to find a baby lion in her baby‘s crib. No mother is prepared to find out she carried an abomination in her belly for nine months.
Of course, then the secret was out and because of his regret, and maybe as a random plea for forgiveness, this ’perfect’ husband sacrificed his daughter, allowing his wife and son to treat her however they pleased. Of course, the outside world could never know; they would always appear like a normal, functioning, perfect family to everyone else.
But when Ariel was fourteen, things changed. She had been stupid, she had allowed her ‘friends’ to see her shift thinking that it would be ok, that they of all people would understand. But, of course, that’s never the case. As soon as the lioness appeared before them, it was only human nature to run from something that you are afraid of. One thing lead to another and pretty soon their whole region, if not all of Scotland, was rambling about the freakish little glamour girl.
This just would not do. It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t them. Ariel could not stay in the house any longer. So, like any well kept secret, she was sent off in the dead of the night. A fourteen year old year on her own for the first time, leaving everything she knew behind, and on her way to a land she knew nothing about. She was no longer rich, no longer the perfect child of the perfect family. She was just Ariel, the strange little Scottish girl without a family.
It took a few year and a large determination for her to build back her perfect little rich girl reputation and that’s what she lives in now, her lies and her image. That’s the only thing that mattered, that’s the only thing she had every been taught. She loved being a lioness, loved running carefree just like old times, but it this new place, she could start over. With on one knowing who she really was, who's to say she's not the perfect daughter of the perfect family her parents had always wanted her to be?
Ariel loves her lioness form. She loves her large, golden paws; she loves her soft, white belly; she loves her ‘queen of the jungle’ idolizations; and she loves the power and force behind such a massive cat. Everything about it was perfect. As a cat, there is no doubt in her mind that she is perfect. She knows how to hunt like a normal lioness would in the wild, she knows how to use that bulk and muscle to her advantage, and she knew how to strut about and look positively gorgeous while she’s doing it. There were times while she was back in Scotland that she would sit or stand in front of her large body mirror and just be amazed that the beautiful creature she was seeing was really her. She had the same honey colored eyes, but this time they held a wisdom in them that no human could ever know. Her nose was so cute, black on the outer edges, but fading into a warm pink in the center. And the warm tones of brown and gold of her smooth pelt, accented by the little black batch at the tip of her tail, was just stunning. But they only down side to having such a powerful form at her command was control. Sure, on normal occasions, Ariel could keep herself in check, no problem; but there were times when it was hard. Like when people run away. The predator within her had a natural instinct to give chase. And then there was hunger. No matter how much it sickened her human side, the cat could look at anything from a pet dog or a horse and see its next meal.Make sure you read the rules![/font][/b]:
